- opaque.
- additives suspend evenly throughout.
- more pastel colors.

I AM CURRENTLY SHORT ON SHEA AND AM NOT TAKING ORDERS FOR IT AT THIS TIME! I WILL REMOVE THIS NOTICE WHEN SHEA IS AVAILABLE AGAIN.

GLYCERIN
- translucent.
- easiest type to work with.
- any color possible!

ALOE
- translucent.
- slight green/yellow base color, can affect dyed colors.
- super moisturizing!

NOTE: the aloe costs the most because it is hard to get out of the molds and the same amount of aloe soap doesn't go as far as the glycerin/shea, so i have to buy it more often. glycerin's the cheapest because it's the easiest to work with.

** if you're ordering some soap as a gift, i can wrap it up and label it a bit cutely in clear cellophane with a ribbon OR just snugly in cling-wrap.
otherwise, i'll just pop it into a plastic baggie (still labeled, of course).



Personal recommendations:

- aloe soap w/ teatree oil for shaving your legs. i use this with my venus razor and don't even need to use lotion afterwards. needless to say, i'm never buying shaving cream again. :)

- shea soap w/ coffee grounds. this is my favorite soap because it smells like coffee (!!!) and it's nice and exfoliating. i use it on my face, too, and it really cleans out my blackheads... and trust me, they're bad. :P it's best if backed with a scent like vanilla, coconut, pumpkin spice, fig/sugar, or morocco.

- scent combos i love:
coconut + lemon
peppermint + vanilla
lemon + vanilla + fig/sugar
baby powder + rose/thyme
pumpkin spice + coffee
